This important participation introduced SGS works, activities, and achievements in geological surveying and mineral exploration, presented the development of investment opportunities in the fields of geology and mineral resources, and stimulated the exchange of technical and information expertise among the various geological bodies.

Al-Safri commended that the SGS participated in the Conference with three scientific papers: 1) the presence of gold and antimony in the deposits of Mohsinia in Saudi Arabia, presented by geologist Zain Al-Harbi; 2) a working paper on gold mineralization in the Sukhaybarat mine, presented by geologist Nasser Al-Jahdali; and 3) a study on the metallogeny of tungsten deposits in Bed’ Al-Jamala in Qassim, presented by Dr. Islam Dorgham.
